I knew going into this read I was either going to get THE BEST BOOK EVER or well... a 1 star read. The reviews on Beautifully Damaged are quite polarized and that always peaks my interest in a book. Sometimes the gamble pays off... this time not so much.
I'm the type of reader that rates/reviews book based on "the story" and how a book "makes me feel". Grab me and pull me in... make me fall in love with you characters, take me on your crazy ride and grammatical/spelling errors be damned... I'm joining your club.
Beautifully Damaged just didn't do it for me. I didn't care. About the characters or the plot. The lack of character development, overuse of melodrama/cliches, poor pacing and the fact that there was very little overall romance besides some weird case of insta-love made it just one big ol' waste of time.
